The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we tell you who else sees it, a child's drawing is deleted after 30 days, and you can take any of it back at any time.
These pages are written by the team that built AIKHANA and describe exactly what the product does today. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, write to us and ask.

What we hold
Only what a working account needs:
- Your email address, and a display name if you give one.
- Your children's first names and an age range. Not surnames, not birthdays, not photographs of them.
- What you make: story text, pictures, motion clips, narration, and the finished film.
- Drawings you upload, for 30 days.
- Your credit balance and the history of how it was spent.
- Which lessons you have finished.
- Anonymous usage data — pages opened, buttons pressed — so we can see what is confusing.
Who else sees it
AIKHANA is built on other people's services, and being vague about that would be the same as hiding it. Each one sees only what its job needs:
- Supabase — the database, the files, and signing in.
- Vercel — running the website.
- Anthropic — writes the story, and looks at every uploaded drawing to check it is safe.
- Replicate — draws the scenes and animates them.
- ElevenLabs — reads the narration aloud.
- Stripe — takes the payment. Your card number never reaches us.
- Resend — sends the emails.
- PostHog — counts how the site is used.
About the drawing your child uploads
Say it plainly: the drawing is sent to Anthropic, which checks it is safe and writes the hero's description, and then to Replicate, which uses it as the reference so the hero looks the same in every scene. That is the only way the product works, which is why we ask first and why nothing is sent before you agree. The file is deleted after 30 days, automatically, whether or not you ask.
We do not train anything on your child's work
We never use what you make to train a model, and we never publish it. We use providers whose terms say they do not train on what comes through their interfaces either — but those are their terms, not ours, and they can change them. If that matters to you, read them.
How long we keep things
Uploaded drawings: 30 days, then the file is deleted. Everything else stays until you delete it or close your account. Records of consent are kept even after you withdraw it, because they are the record that we asked — they say what you agreed to and when, and nothing about the picture itself.
What you can do
Withdraw any consent on your Family page, and the drawings it covered are deleted on the next cleanup. Delete a child's profile whenever you like. Ask us for a copy of everything we hold, or ask us to delete all of it, by writing to info@aikhana.com.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not give children their own logins. We do not show anyone else's work to your child, and we do not show your child's work to anyone.
Where this is not finished
We have not yet named a data controller entity, a jurisdiction, or a data-protection contact, and this policy has not been reviewed against COPPA, GDPR-K or PDPL. That work comes before any advertising. Until then, treat this as an honest description rather than a legal instrument, and ask us anything at info@aikhana.com.
