Children's safety
AIKHANA is built for a child and a parent sitting together. This page is what we actually do about that, in enough detail to check.
These pages are written by the team that built AIKHANA and describe exactly what the product does today. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, write to us and ask.

A child does not have an account
There is no child login, no child password, and no way for a child to sign in on their own. A child profile is a name and an age range inside your account — it exists so a film can be labelled as theirs, nothing more.
Nothing is sent before you say so
The first time you upload your child's drawing, you are asked to agree, in one sentence, that it may be sent to our AI partners to make the cartoon. The agreement is enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the browser — a page that skips the question cannot upload anything. We record the exact sentence you were shown and when, so you can always see what you agreed to.
Every upload is looked at
Before a drawing is stored, Claude checks it for anything that should not be there. If it fails that check, nothing is kept and nothing goes any further. If it is unclear, the film carries on and a person on our team looks at it. Be aware of the limit of this: checking the picture means showing the picture to a model, so it does reach Anthropic either way. What the check buys is that it is never stored, never reaches the drawing models and never becomes part of a film.
Kids mode
When you hand over the device, turn on kids mode from your Family page. Your child gets a simple screen with four choices. While it is on, the checkout, the credit packs, your account, the consent switches and the admin tools are all closed. Leaving needs a code that you set. Be clear about what this is: it stops a seven-year-old wandering somewhere they should not be. It is a child lock, not a bank vault — a determined teenager who knows browsers can get out of it.
Anyone can report anything
Every picture the studio makes has a Report link under it, and so does every page. It works in kids mode too, because the person most likely to see something frightening is the child. Choosing "scary or upsetting" puts it at the top of the queue. We read all of them.
The drawing does not stay
An uploaded drawing is deleted 30 days after it arrives, automatically. Withdraw your consent on your Family page and it goes sooner. Ask us and it goes today.
What cannot happen here
There is no chat with strangers, no comments, no public gallery, no way for anyone to find your child, and no advertising of any kind. Nothing your child makes is visible to another user. We do not use their work to train models.
If something is wrong
Use the Report link, or write to info@aikhana.com and say what happened. If it concerns a child's safety, say so in the subject line and it goes to the top.
Where this is not finished
This page describes what the software does. It has not been reviewed against COPPA, GDPR-K or PDPL by anyone qualified to do that, and that review happens before we advertise to anybody. We would rather tell you that than let the page imply otherwise.
